Mid-Land Meals is a Not for Profit established in 1974. Our Lafayette facility was built in 2002 and expanded in 2010.
Beginning at 4:30 AM meals are prepared for delivery.
We utilize a fleet of vehicles for our deliveries including a refrigerator/freezer (Refer) truck, Hotshot Trucks which have an oven and refrigerator unit, as well as vans.
We are faced with future challenges such as changes in congregate site, food and energy costs, increased demand for meals and early hospital release needing quick meal service.
Our capacity for routine remodeling, upgrades and equipment or vehicle replacement is limited due to restriction of capital funds.
